Matti Mannonen

Matti Mannonen is an Executive Director and member of Excom at the Technology Industries of Finland (TIF). His unit is in charge of economic and tax policy, data, digitalisation and innovation as well as coordination of all EU advocacy including TIF’s representative office in Brussels.

Matti is also one of the Directors representing TIF at Orgalim. He is in charge of TIF’s strategy theme Industry of the Future, focusing on speeding up the digitalisation and renewal of member companies, increasing public and private investments in R&D&I as well as building up better conditions for companies to operate in Finland. His main goals include making Europe more competitive and enabling operating environment for companies.

Previously Matti has worked for 20+ years managing international engineering consultancy business, and five years in the public sector. He has Master’s degree in Engineering from Aalto University, Executive Coaching diploma from Henley Business School and he is also a certified Yoga teacher.
