Pilar Roch

Pilar Roch is the Managing Director of AMETIC, the biggest and longest-running tech association in Spain. She is a member of the Board at DIGITALEUROPE, representing the Spanish digital industry.

She is an Independent Member of the Fond-ICO Global Investment Committee, the first public venture capital/private equity “fund of funds” created in Spain.

Pilar has more than 25 years of professional experience in various management positions in technology companies such as Hewlett-Packard and in the digital transformation of many other companies, particularly in the Publishing and Media sector.

Pilar has combined her management career in multinationals with that of technology entrepreneurship, having founded and led several digital start-ups.

Pilar has a Law and Business Administration degree and graduated with honours from San Pablo University (CEU). She also holds a master’s degree in Advanced Management from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and a Corporate Governance title from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition to her academic qualifications, Pilar is a certified professional in ‘Change management’ and ‘Strategic coaching’.
As a manager in the ITC sector, she has received several awards throughout her career, such as “Mujer Lidera” in 2011, W50 from Santander Bank in 2012 and “Women to Go” in 2017.
