Lourdes Gabriela Medina Pérez joined DIGITALEUROPE as a Senior Manager for International Affairs & Trade Policy.
Lourdes is an experienced international trade lawyer with dual nationality and over seven years of professional experience. She holds an LL.M in International Trade and Business Law from the University of Arizona and an LL.M in International and European Law from the Institute for European Studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Lourdes has a robust background in EU law, particularly the EU Green Deal Strategy and digital policy, as well as WTO law and EU trade negotiations. In her previous role at FratiniVergano, she advised non-EU governments, businesses, and trade associations on sustainability policies. Lourdes has provided comprehensive legal analysis and advice on EU and WTO law, focusing on trade policy, digital trade, sustainable development, and food law.
She has extensive experience advising clients on trade-related intellectual property rights, export controls, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Lourdes has also worked on human rights projects and pro bono initiatives.
