Diem Tran

Diem is currently the Senior Project Manager for Communications and Area Coordinator of DIGITALEUROPE. She focuses on development and implementation of communication and outreach activities for DIGITALEUROPE’s EU projects, primarily in the fields of digital skills and diversity.

Diem has been working in communications, media and public relations for several years, with work experience in different sectors such as ICT, public health, forestry and pharmaceuticals. Her areas of expertise include communications planning and execution, content development, media and stakeholder outreach and event organisation. Prior to joining DIGITALEUROPE, Diem worked for different European trade associations based in Brussels, where she played an active role in managing and delivering a number of communication and advocacy activities, targeting a wide range of stakeholders at both EU and national levels. 

Before moving to Belgium from her homeland Vietnam, Diem worked as journalist and presenter for the national television broadcaster of Vietnam for 5 years. She also spent a couple of years working at Ogilvy’s branch office in Vietnam.

Diem holds a MSc degree in Communication from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with a focus on new media and the digitalisation in Europe, and a Bachelor of Business from La Trobe University.
