DIGITALEUROPE MCARD-HEU: Model Consortium Agreement for Research, Development and Innovation Actions under Horizon Europe

The DIGITALEUROPE MCARD-HEU model Consortium Agreement will, we trust, provide a sound and suitable starting point for your consideration and negotiations under the guidance of your legal and professional advisors.

We could not hope to cover all the circumstances that might arise in research collaborations between consortia members drawn from academia, industry and institutes. The optional text and blanks are highlighted in yellow for your assistance.

The template consists of a revision of the MCARD-2020, which has been extensively used and re-adapted to the needs of different stakeholders. For example, the industry associations AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE, which are the three private members of the European Public-Private Partnership on Key Digital Technologies (KDT JU the successor to the ECSEL JU), renew their interest in the updated template and intend to use it as a basis for developing their own model Project Consortium Agreement (PCA) that they will provide to their members for use in KDT projects. The 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association – 6GIA will take the template into consideration for the projects of the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking SNS-JU.
