European AI Skills Alliance

The Artificial Intelligence Skills Alliance (ARISA) addresses the AI skill gaps among employees, job seekers, business leaders, and policymakers. ARISA enables people to understand and use AI technology in business and policy contexts by providing AI skills development strategies and education and training opportunities.

DIGITALEUROPE is the coordinator of the ARISA project, overseeing project management and quality assurance throughout its duration, while also leading communication efforts to promote the ARISA project and its outcomes.

The ARISA project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme.

Impact of the project:

• Identified key AI roles and skill needs across Europe through an AI Skills Needs Analysis.
• Developed a comprehensive AI Skills Strategy for Europe to address AI skills shortages.
• Created curricula and freely available training materials for various AI professional roles, decision-makers, and policymakers.
• Organised AI upskilling workshops for decision-makers and policymakers and launched an online learning platform to teach AI fundamentals to the public.
