JOB VACANCY: (Senior) Manager for Digital Health Policy (Projects)

We are looking for a candidate passionate on digital health technology, policy and practices, primarily responsible for contributing to existing projects in Digital Health. Deadline to apply: 10 August.

We are looking for a candidate passionate on digital health technology, policy and practices. The prospective candidate will be primarily responsible for contributing to existing projects in Digital Health focused on digital twins and digital solutions for health, supporting the management of the Digital Health Working Group, developing expert knowledge for the DIGITALEUROPE members and monitoring the EU technical and regulatory affairs related to the Digital Health key topics.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Contribute to existing projects in the area of digital health (digital twins in healthcare and scaling up of digital solutions in health and care).
  • Monitor EU and national policy, standardisation and ethical developments of relevance in the field.
  • Experience on drafting business models and sustainability plans in the area of digital health or related areas.
  • Support with the management and coordination of the Digital Health Working Group.
  • Develop expert knowledge and reports of interest for DIGITALEUROPE members.

Required competencies and skills

  • Three to five (or more) years’ work experience on health technology, research or policy issues. Ideally as a researcher in the field of digital health or related scientific areas (health management, digital solutions for health and care, etc.).
  • Advantage if you can demonstrate experience on drafting business models  and project sustainability plans in the area of digital health or related areas.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken – other languages are an asset.
  • Strong organisational, research and analytical skills. Project management skills is an asset.
  • Being able to set clear priorities and drive towards concrete results, based on consensus among a diverse membership.
  • Ability to synthesise policy documents, identifying relevant key points, facts and statistics to help explain complex policy topics to broad audiences in a concise way.
  • Familiarity with the ICT and digital sector is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment, with competing priorities and workloads.
