JOB VACANCY: Events & Executive Outreach Manager or Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities & Job Description 

As a (Senior) Manager for Executive Outreach & Events, your mission is to deliver exceptional events that bring together C-level executives and high-level policymakers.  

You will work with the Director for Communications and Political Outreach and in close coordination with the Associate Director for Events, to deliver strategic campaigns built around high-level events, and build a strong community of business executives that will impact the EU’s policy-making at the highest level. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Executive & high-level event coordination: Lead the planning and execution of at least five high-quality events per year, tailored to C-level executives and senior policymakers. This includes our upcoming CEO Summit and C-level executive roundtables. 
  • Strategic campaign planning: Coordinate and manage strategic campaigns that include these high-level events. 
  • Community building & stakeholder Engagement: Engage with executives and define their interactions with our Director-General, Senior Management, and senior government officials. Develop and nurture a community of business executives involved in these campaigns and events. 
  • Support other major events: Assist in the delivery of other major events, such as our annual Masters of Digital conference. 

Key Requirements 

  • 4-8 years of experience in events or project management (The number of years of experience will determine the level of seniority).  
  • A strong attention to details and high organisation skills 
  • Experience creating and managing a budget 
  • Excellent communication skills, with native level written and spoken English; French is a plus. 
  • A degree or certification in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred, but not essential. 
  • A basic understanding of how the EU works and digital policies is preferred.
