Future Unicorn Award nominee: TeleportHQ

DIGITALEUROPE is proud to introduce TeleportHQ among the selected SMEs to participate in the Future Unicorn Award. This Romanian company is driving the digitisation of SMEs and enterprises with an AI-wired platform and a suite of open-source tools which automates the code generation of user-interfaces; it is to user interfaces what autonomous driving is to mobility.

About TeleportHQ

TeleportHQ is a low-code platform which builds a mental exo-skeleton for user interface professionals (designers, developers, marketers, content creators and business owners).

The platform assists or fully-automates the process of building user interfaces. You can start from a wire-frame drawn on a napkin or a digital mock up which you submit to our platform. In seconds, the corresponding website is built for you: the design and the code are generated instantly.

  • How does it work?

The platform is code-agnostic: the users can already pick one of ten different languages or frameworks (or change between them anytime). The meta representation used behind it is called OpenUIDL (an abstract JSON format which is open-source). Our code-generators are open-source as well with the MIT license and already have many contributors and forks. This open-source approach has already generated collaboration proposals from industry leaders who are interested in defining an abstract standard for user interfaces.

Their technology is 3D ready. This means that they are already working with AR/VR software and hardware partners in order to build an ecosystem in which the users could build their web applications with their bare hands in an AR/VR environment, without touching a mouse or a physical keyboard.

  • About the award

The Pan-European Future Unicorn Award aims to highlight innovative SMEs that have the potential to become Europe’s next unicorns. The award is compiled by asking all the national trade associations affiliated with DIGITALEUROPE to nominate a single SME from their country. This results in a truly pan-European selection of incredible digital companies from all sectors.

The award will be delivered at our flagship event, Masters of Digital, in Brussels on 6 February.
