DIGITALEUROPE welcomes its two newest members Bidao and OPPO

DIGITALEUROPE is thrilled to announce that Bidao and OPPO are joining our association as our newest corporate members.

Bidao is a German company that has built a new blockchain system using the BiDao Cryptocurrency (BID). It is now working on its goal to become a one-stop-shop for Decentralised Finance (Defi) applications. Defi aims to create an open-source, permissionless, and transparent financial service ecosystem that is available to everyone.

OPPO is a Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communications company and one of the five largest smartphone manufacturers in the world. Through the development of its innovative devices, OPPO is active in key enabling technologies such as artificial intelligence and 5G connectivity.

Both companies have their European operations based in Germany and are members of our national trade association Bitkom. Having Bidao and OPPO among DIGITALEUROPE’s members will grow our expertise in fast-paced sectors such as blockchain and mobile communications, as well as expanding our representation of the European and Asian digital industries.

These two innovative companies are a welcome addition to DIGITALEUROPE’s growing membership. Just this year, in fact, we gained five new corporate members: besides Bidao and OPPO, we were joined by Accenture, Eli Lilly & Company, and Roche.
