DIGITALEUROPE launches Executive Advisory Group on Covid-19
DIGITALEUROPE has formed a new high level Executive Advisory Group to inform its COVID-19 policies and to better understand the situation on the ground for digital companies across Europe.
On 21 April, they met with Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, and on Friday 24 April they will meet with Executive Vice-President for a Europe Fit for the Digital Age, Margrethe Vestager.
The group brings together senior executives from a geographical and sectoral cross-section of digital and digitising industries in Europe, covering everything from early-stage SMEs to established multinationals.
Discussion in the group will revolve around DIGITALEUROPE’s recommendations to tackle COVID-19. Our priorities are to create to ensure the survival of Europe’s digital innovative eco-system and the hundreds of thousands of digital SMEs that are struggling during the crisis and to encourage investments that create a stronger and more resilient digital Europe in the recovery phase.
