Making Europe fit for the digital age

04 Mar 2020
18:30 - 21:30
Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU
Rue Wiertz 77, 1000, Brussels

The Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs, Judith Gerlach, DIGITALEUROPE and Bitkom, Germany’s digital association, kindly invite you to an evening debate:

Making Europe fit for the digital age

The von der Leyen Commission has high ambitions for digital policy. On 19 February we saw big announcements on artificial intelligence and data that will shape our continent’s digital future. The timing could not be better to discuss these issues in more detail with experts from industry and academia.

How can industry in Europe remain competitive? What is the best way to create a ‘trustworthy AI’? What can we do to bring small firms along with us and encourage their innovation? How does our society need to adapt and what investment is needed?

These are just some of the questions that will be covered in what promises to be an insightful debate.
